在高效能的電腦裡頭，風扇幾乎是不可或缺的散熱工具，但有些風扇轉起來，就像是
噴射機啟動一樣大聲，不論是工作或聽音樂都造成不小的困擾。SpeedFan 可以監控系
統各項資訊，調整系統的風扇速度，還給你安靜舒適的電腦。
監視電腦風扇速度及溫度的軟體，可以最小化於工作列，即時顯示晶片溫度，最主要
的功能是：可以根據監控晶片溫度設定不同的風扇速度，目前支援華邦 W83782D 及華
邦 W83627HF 晶片。
隨著電腦的運算速度越來越快，CPU 的線路越來越精細，電腦運作所發出的熱量也越
來越高。如果不做好散熱的工作，很快就完蛋了。
最基本但最重要的的散熱工具應該就是風扇了，利用快速的氣流把大量的熱帶走，讓
主機保持在可以正常工作的溫度之內。
但是全力運轉的風扇真會造成不小的噪音，如果用的風扇沒有注意防噪的設計，恐怕
你一開機就好像有台飛機在啟動引擎一般，對使用上造成可謂不小的影響。
SpeedFan 是一套可以改變電腦風扇速度的軟體，它可以作用在在有硬體監控晶片的主
機板上，監控系統及 CPU 的溫度，並驅使風扇加速或減速，調整系統的溫度。
SpeedFan 能夠監控的系統資訊相當多，從常見的主機板 CPU 溫度級風扇轉速，到系
統各層電壓實際值甚至是有 S.M.A.R.T 功能的硬碟資訊都可以讀取。在 SpeedFan 的
說明文件裡，有詳盡的設定方式說明，你可以依照指示，在可能的限度內把風扇的轉
速盡可能降低，達到減少噪音的目標。
