TechToolProtogo是一款MacOSX應用程式，可以使用戶將一個舊的iPod、一個
閃存設備或者其他相似的設備變成載有Micromat的硬碟修復工具。載入完這些程式

TechToolProtogo提供一張DVD盤，內載Protogo設定程式，及Micromat的
TechToolProClassic(用於MacOS9及更老的作業系統)、TechToolPro(用於
MacOSX)及DiskStudio。用戶甚至於可以將一個整體的MacOSX啟動硬碟安裝在

thatincludethecustomcomponentsyoudesire(evenincludingthird-party
utilities).Thestandardprofilesrangefromaminimalbootablesystemwith
TechToolPro4andDiskStudio,toafull-blownMacOSXinstallation
includingaFinder,Classic,andmultipleutilityprograms.

AdevicecreatedbyProtogobootsandrunssoftwaremuchfasterthanfroma
CD/DVDrepairdisk.ItalsoincludesmemoryswapspacefortheMacOS,
whichincreasesspeedandstabilityaswell.Inaddition,youcanre-
configurethedeviceatanytimetoaddnewutilities,updatedversions
ofsoftwareornewerversionsoftheMacOS.
