2009年5月22日，瑞典發行商ParadoxInteractive與KerberosProductions宣佈，將推出倍受好評的
太空戰略遊戲《星際之劍（SwordoftheStars）》系列的全新資料片《星際之劍：阿哥斯船廠
（SwordoftheStars:ArgosNavalYard）》，新作定於6月17日發行。

號稱是4X概念體系作品的《星際之劍》系列，以eXplore（探索）、eXpand（拓張與發展）、
eXploit（經營與開發）、eXterminate（征服）為遊戲核心內容。與其他戰略遊戲相比，《星際之劍》
