Fledermaus可以幫助用戶完成包括海洋（海岸、海底）資源調查與製圖、環境影響評估、
採礦、地質調查以及各種研究等等在內的工作。全新的數據挖掘技術包括ShiftScape漫
游引擎和Bat（3維輸入設備），用以完成直觀的3維地理資訊數據的挖掘與分析。該系統
廣泛支援大量工業數據格式的直接輸入。
面向對象的數據類型包括：數字地形圖、點數據集合、線、多邊形、衛星影像等等都可
以直接導入進行顯示分析。由於採用靈活的軟體結構設計，Fledermaus輕鬆實現自定制
